The School Day Match is an opportunity for students to be inspired by home-grown professional soccer players while enjoying an educational experience that transcends the classroom. Join us for this unique enrichment opportunity designed to bring people together and promote healthy, active, and empowered youth in our community.

FAQs

Forge FC is a professional soccer team based in Hamilton, Ontario, and a prominent member of the Canadian Premier League (CPL). Founded in 2018, Forge FC quickly established itself as a force in Canadian soccer, claiming the inaugural CPL title in 2019 and has since gone on to win 4 CPL championships (2019, 2020, 2022, 2023). The team plays its home matches at Tim Hortons Field, providing local fans with an exciting soccer experience. Known for its passionate fan base and commitment to developing Canadian talent, Forge FC has become a key contributor to the growth of professional soccer in Canada.

The Canadian Premier League (CPL), is Canada’s Tier 1 domestic men’s soccer league. The CPL develops homegrown talent in support of the growth of Canadian soccer domestically and internationally. The CPL, which enters its milestone fifth season in 2023, plays in Concacaf and FIFA-sanctioned competitions. For more updates and information, please visit CanPL.ca.

The match will take place on Tuesday, May 7 at Tim Hortons Field in Hamilton, Ontario at 11 a.m. ET.

Once on sale, students can purchase tickets through their school. If you are an educator who want to participate in the School Day Match or a parent looking for more information, please fill out the form above and we will be in touch with you.

Tim Hortons Field is a CASHLESS venue. Students will have the opportunity to pre-order food and beverage vouchers through their schools, or make cashless purchases at the concession or retail kiosks on match day.
