Intern, Social Media

The Forge FC are seeking a passionate and creative individual to join our marketing team as a Social Media Intern. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to work on impactful projects, support game-day experiences, and contribute to the growth of our brands.

As the Social Media Intern, you will play an integral role in the planning and execution of marketing initiatives for the 2025 season. This includes supporting digital campaigns, social media strategies, and fan engagement efforts. The ideal candidate is a proactive and detail-oriented team player with a strong passion for sports, marketing, and creativity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate on social media projects to drive engagement, including contests, campaigns, and content creation.
  • Write and edit fan newsletters, season seat holder email communications, game day updates, and ticket administration emails.
  • Monitor social media channels and online mentions related to Forge FC, and relevant keywords, providing insights and reports.
  • Support the creation of engaging digital content, including social posts, graphics, and videos, aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Conduct research to help develop and plan marketing initiatives and the content calendar.
  • Compile campaign reports, analyzing performance metrics and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Prepare presentation materials for internal and external meetings.
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as maintaining and organizing files, data entry, and other duties as required.

  • Proactive, team-oriented attitude with a passion for sports and marketing.
  • Familiarity with basic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is an asset but not required.

Additional Requirements:

  • Availability for the entire internship duration (May – November 2025).
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and all home games for Forge FC.
  • Applicants must be enrolled in post-secondary education to be eligible for HSG internships.
