Forge FC announced Friday that Hamilton native Anthony Urciuoli will join the organization as the new Digital Host across all Forge FC platforms.
As the new Digital Host, Urciuoli will be evolving the role to present content in a whole new way to all the fans of Forge FC while still giving fans the breaking news, insights and analysis, exclusive interviews and unique behind the scenes content exclusive to Forgefootball.club and Forge FC social media platforms.
“We are very excited for our supporters to have a Hamiltonian in Anthony, dedicated to covering Forge FC on a daily basis,” said Nicole Demers, Associate Vice President of Business Operations for Forge FC. “The organization is planning on new ways to provide all of our Forge FC Fans the interesting stories and unprecedented access to their favourite players and coaches on our digital platforms, that they deserve.
A graduate of the Mohawk College Journalism and Communications Media program, Urciuoli has spent the last couple of years covering Forge FC by writing for inTheHammer.com. From the beginning, Anthony has been dedicated to helping the club grow by committing his time to getting the stories of our players and coaches out to the fans of Forge FC.
“I am so excited to be bringing the fans of Forge FC coverage like they’ve never seen before,” said Urciuoli. “As someone who was born and raised in Hamilton, I know how important it is for this community to have its own identity and to have something to call its own.”
Prior to transitioning to digital media, Urciuoli spent a decade and a half working in various media outlets as a reporter and a radio announcer at Sportsnet Radio The Fan, SiriusXM NHL Network Radio, and Global News Radio 900 CHML.
