Canada Soccer have announced that Forge FC goalkeeper Dino Bontis and midfielder Kwasi Poku have been invited to the Men’s U-20 National Team camp in Costa Rica as part of the Men’s National Team Program’s preparations for the upcoming Concacaf Men’s Under-20 Championship in June and July.
Bontis, 17, has previously represented Canada at the U15 age group in 2019 making four appearances in the U15 Concacaf Championships securing two clean sheets against Mexico and El Salvador.
Poku, 19, will be representing Canada for the first time at the international level.
The 13-day camp runs 10 April to 22 April and will be led by Mauro Biello, the Canada Soccer’s Men’s Olympic Head Coach. The camp will feature a pair of youth international matches against Costa Rica on the mornings of 15 and 21 April.
