Forge FC and Head Coach & Sporting Director Bobby Smyrniotis announced Thursday, the club’s coaching and operations staff for the 2024 season. Four coaches return from the Forge FC 2023 staff, including Bobby Smyrniotis, Johan Albert, David Edgar and Kyt Selaidopoulos who will now serve as the Director of Youth Football & Assistant Coach. A new addition to the coaching staff for the 2024 season will be assistant coach Nikos Nentidis joining the club after an extensive career both as a player and manager in Greece. Supporting the coaching staff will be be a high caliber operations team aiding in all of the behind the scene needs of the staff at Forge FC.

Bobby Smyrniotis was named Forge FC’s first ever Technical Director and Head Coach on October 1, 2018. On May 1, 2023, Bobby expanded his role to Head Coach & Sporting Director. He has led Forge FC to five consecutive Canadian Premier League Final appearances being crowned Champions in 2019, 2020, 2022, and 2023 and was a finalist for CPL Coach of the Year in all five seasons. Under the leadership of Smyrniotis, Forge FC became the first CPL club to appear in Concacaf League, and Concacaf Champions League.
Nentidis a UEFA Pro License holder, joins Forge FC after spending time across a number of managerial roles in the Greek Super League and Super League 2. Prior to starting his managerial career Nikoas played at the professional amongst a variety of clubs in Greece including Olympiacos and Iraklis between the years of 1985-1999. Nentidis will now serve as an Assistant Coach with Forge FC.
