Join Forge FC in the Spirit of Giving: Food Drive in Support of Good Shepherd
As the passion for soccer unites us all, Forge FC and its partners at Hamilton Volkswagen are coming together once again to make a positive impact off the pitch. This summer, from July 30 to August 11, the club is hosting a Food Drive in support of Good Shepherd, a charity organization dedicated to alleviating hunger and homelessness in the Hamilton community.
Making a Difference, One Non-Perishable at a Time
Hunger is a pressing issue affecting countless individuals and families within our community. This Food Drive provides an excellent opportunity for Forge FC fans and members of the Hamilton community to come together and make a difference in the lives of those in need. The club is looking for donations of non-perishable food items to help Good Shepherd continue their essential work.
Donate at the Forge FC Shop
From July 30 to August 11, the Forge FC Shop will be the designated drop-off point for all non-perishable food items. Whether you’re picking up the latest Forge FC merchandise or stopping by just to support the cause, feel free to bring along your donations and make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate.
Matchday Donations: Saturday, August 12
On Saturday, August 12, Forge FC will be taking on Provincial rivals York United FC in a thrilling 905-Derby showdown at Tim Hortons Field. This match will also be an opportunity for fans to make a lasting impact on the community. As you head to the stadium for the exciting match, consider bringing along some of the most needed food items to contribute to the Food Drive.
Most Needed Food Items:
During the Food Drive, the focus is on collecting the following non-perishable food items, which are in high demand to address immediate hunger needs:
- Cereal
- Canned Tuna
- Peanut Butter
- Kraft Dinner
- Dried Pasta
- Tomato Sauce
- Canned Soup
- Dried/Boxed Soup
Your contribution of any of these items, no matter how big or small, will go a long way in helping those struggling with hunger in the Hamilton area.
