Badibanga, 27, spent last season with Belgian 1ste Nationale Side RAAL La Louvière, recording nine goals in 23 appearances for the club. The native of the Democratic Republic of Congo began his career with Standard Liège of the Belgian Jupiler Pro League appearing in 36 matches, tallying one goal and two assists over three seasons (2015-18), helping the club capture the 2016 Belgian Cup.

“We are very happy to welcome Beni to our club,” said Forge Head Coach & Sporting Director Bobby Smyrniotis. “He is a quality player who brings over high level experience and will strengthen an already solid attacking group as we head into the back half of our season.”

The 5-7 attacker had loan spells with Dutch side Roda JC Kerkade (2016-’17) and Belgian Proximus League side Lierse SK (2016-’17). Badibanga then joined SK Beveren from Proximus League (2017-’20) before having stints with Royal Excel Mouscron of the Jupiler Pro League (2020-’21) and Moroccan side Raja Club Athletic from Botola Pro Inwi (21-’22) making 51 appearances and recording six goals and ten assists with these clubs.

Internationally, Badibanga represented the Belgian U19 and U21 national teams at the youth level.
