Cavalry FC and Forge FC played out a 1-1 draw at ATCO Field in Calgary, Alberta on Saturday afternoon — the first of two legs in the 2022 Canadian Premier League semifinals.
Daan Klomp gave the home side the lead with a thumping header a few minutes before halftime, and Woobens Pacius cancelled that out with a header of his own for Forge just over a minute after the second half kicked off. It was a chippy match throughout as these two great rivals went head-to-head with so much on the line, and they will now head to Hamilton for the return leg.
