The Canadian Premier League (CPL) has announced the match between Forge FC and Atlético Ottawa at Tim Hortons Field on Saturday, October 7 — previously set to kick off at 4 p.m. ET — will now kick off at 5 p.m. ET.

The last weekend of CPL regular season matches holds large implications for the final season standings and placement in the CPL Playoffs. Forge FC will have the opportunity to clinch a second-place spot in the standings securing them a position to play for the right to host the CPL Finals at Tim Hortons Field.

The run to the North Star Cup will begin on Wednesday, Oct. 11, with the CPL Final taking place on either Saturday, Oct. 28 or Sunday, Oct. 29. The location of the CPL Final will be determined when the top two teams from the regular season standings square off for the chance to host the championship game in their opening match of the 2023 playoffs.
