Hamilton’s all-sports talk radio station to pick up three remaining first stage games plus playoffs
Forge FC Hamilton and TSN 1150 announced Friday that three of the four remaining Forge FC first stage games at the Canadian Premier League’s ‘The Island Games‘ tournament, plus any of the club’s four potential playoff games, will be broadcast live on TSN 1150.
The announcement was made live on TSN 1150’s morning show, The Morning Scrum with Marsh and Melo, as hosts Marshall Ferguson and Kyle Melo were joined by AJ Jakubec who will be providing play-by-play of the games live from Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Each broadcast will have a pre-game show featuring interviews with coaches and players that starts 10 minutes before each scheduled kickoff time.
Jakubec is a 23-year broadcasting veteran who is the play-by-play voice of the Canadian Football League’s Ottawa Redblacks, Ontario Hockey League’s Ottawa 67’s and CPL’s Atletico Ottawa, and has also called games for the National Hockey League’s Ottawa Senators and former USL team the Ottawa Fury.

*Following the first stage games, the top four clubs in the standings will advance to the second round six-match group phase that will culminate with the top two clubs competing in a single match Final to be crowned the 2020 CPL Champion in September.
